Life's A {Beach}.

It's so hard to believe that it was already a week ago that Justin & I were at the beach in LA with Nick & Tim - swimming in the freezing cold water just in order to be able to play in the huge waves! I love swimming in the ocean. Usually, you can't get me out of there [last weekend was an exception because I could not feel my entire body...]

+ Relax! For the past two weekends (...since I've started my full-time job), Justin and I have been traveling - first to MN, then to LA - so we haven't had a weekend home with nothing to do for awhile. It'll be nice... but it won't last long before I'm bored!

+ Plan a Cocktail Party, just so I can make these DIY Cocktail Party Invitations!

+ Knock this off my 'need' list!

+ Catch up on some movies [we have A LOT to see, but most likely we'll see these two]: Charlie St. Cloud and Inception

+ Find a cute romper [I've been on the hunt for one for months now... hopefully I have better luck this weekend!]

+ Start a good book... Any ideas?

... I have a huge 'need' list right now [like usual] almost to the point where I need to start writing things down so I don't forget what I want. So here's my reminders...


I know I already have a black pair, but I need these lower heel, closed toes for work.

I also really need a dressy little purse and this Burberry is perfect - compact & black, my two requirements!
I LOVE this LV Save It Bracelet and it was originally going to be my Birthday present this past year [yes, I've wanted it for that long!] but it was sold out at that time. Lucky for me, it's back and available at Caesers LV. Guess where Justin and I are going this weekend--it's about time!!?? [yep, he even said we could!]
I am obsessed with this Burberry scarf. It will definately be added to my closet before September - only because I have a plan and reason that makes me really actually need this! The other day while Justin and I were in LV, looking for the bracelet, I spotted some winter hats they have - SO CUTE! This is just one of the ones I will need this winter...


Clearly these are all necessities [haha] so I better get shopping! : )

...and it deserves a special congratulations, to the newly engaged Corey and Britta!

Corey is Justin's younger brother and he proposed Sunday at church to a completely surprised Britta! It was a special moment Justin and I were glad we could be there for!

For the past few months, I have been obsessed with Starbucks' Chocolate Chip Scones [yum], but only a select few Starbucks actually have Chocolate Chip ones. So, I took matter into my own hands, and found a recipe online so I can have them anytime I please!
