Just {like} home...
This picture reminds me of an old, small town- kind of like Princeton, MN...which also reminds me of how homesick I've been lately and how much I'm missing MN, family, friends, and the activities of summer... 
...luckily for me, I get to go home in 1.5 weeks for a visit, I can't wait!!!

{Relaxing}
This weekend is the FIRST weekend that Justin and I have been home, without company since we moved into our new apartment in MARCH! Crazy! While we've loved all the company and miss them all, we were both looking forward to a relaxing weekend in our new place just the two of us. [this will only last a weekend and we'll be bored, trust me!]
So, what's on the agenda? Well, last night we had lasagna and then headed over to Green Valley Ranch, an outdoor shopping area [and casino, obviously] to walk around and enjoy some live music they had outside. The best part: Emma Joy got to come along, and she was in heaven!
Today, we are going to finish a classic movie we started watching last night, 'The War' with Kevin Costner and a very young Elijah Wood [if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it!], probably lay out in the sun for awihle, it's gorgeous here already, and then head down to the strip to go to the Titanic Exhibit at the Luxor! I've been dying to see this since it was in MN a year/two ago, so I'm finally getting there!
And finally, Sunday, we are planning on trying Krispy Kremes [to determine once and for all who is right - me, who likes regular cake donuts better, or Justin, who loves Krispy Kreme], head to church, and MAYBE, maybe, go golfing, if Justin's lucky.

A {Little} Bit {Country}
Last night I watched the ACM Awards [of course, I love awards shows - mostly for the fashion], and the country music stars didn't dissappoint!
My favorite of the night was Taylor Swift's... and I knew the minute I saw it it was Marchesa, and sure enough, it is!
Another favorite of mine is Carrie Underwood, particularily her performance of my FAVORITE song [see earlier blog], her dress was gorgeous, the rose petals on the ground were my idea for my wedding :), and the finale of dropping roses was awesome. Not to mention the song was brilliant!! go Entertainer-of-the-Year!!!

The {Last} Song
If you haven't read this book yet, I highly recommend it -- it took me no more than a week to finish the entire thing. I then had to see the movie, which of course, was great! A good chick flick, but I think the guys might even like it too!

{Outfit} Update
Here's just an update on my outfit situations for Easter/Birthday party/and Garth Brooks since I posted about it earlier:
Friday, mom and I headed to Kierland shopping center in Scottsdale to find me an Easter dress, since I hadn't found one before we left, and we headed straight for Anthropologie because I knew they had a dress or two that would be perfect [as posted earlier]. After trying on the Castle Lake Dress I had my eyes on, I wasn't too impressed, so I wanted to keep looking. Luckily, mom spotted this dress on our way out which would later become the perfect Easter dress!
Next, we headed over to French Connection in search of my Birthday party dress. Remember in a post WAY back, on 1.29.2010, I posted about my wish list, and on that was a sequin dress from French Connection? Well, to my surprise, and excitement, this location had this dress [noone else does anymore!] So OF COURSE, I had to have it... perfect!
And finally, I've decided to re-wear [gasp] a dress I already have for Garth Brooks, ONLY because I've only worn it once to our Rehearsal Dinner and I love, love, LOVE, this dress. It's incredible [if I do say so myself] and I've actually been looking for an excuse to wear it again, so my Birthday, a fancy dinner and Garth Brooks is the perfect occasion!

Easter {Dress} Hunt
...Me being me, I need to have the 'perfect' dress/outfit for every occasion which means that I have a few occasions coming up that I need to start shopping for, the first being an Easter dress [Birthday party dress & Garth Brooks dress to follow...]
